The set of works questions the mediation of tools that humans inevitably encounter when accessing the Meri Mountain, during which the tools may amplify sensing faculty (telescope) or measure nature (contour lines and annual rings). As part of the flowing Meri mountainscape, the Mingyong Glacier always possesses geomorphological ambiguity under the Kawagarbo Peak.
这组作品向人类接近梅里雪山时所一定遭遇的工具媒介化发问。在此过程中，工具或为了扩大官能（望远镜），或为了测量自然（等高线和年轮线）。作为梅里雪山风景流动的一部分，卡瓦格博峰下的明永冰川始终保有一种地貌的模糊性。
The distribution of glaciers in the future is uncertain, while the annual rings of spruce trees silently record the changes in temperature. In the current global climate change, the faster the temperature rises, the more the Mingyong Glacier will retreat, which points to the glacier contours that can no longer be drawn. At the same time, trees will grow more luxuriantly, and that is the spruce annual ring line that will widen year by year. Humans cannot directly grasp such change of correspondence, but need to rely on these two types of measurement lines that target glaciers and trees. The environmental change is due to the attacks of “smoke rings”, being them burning mulberry stoves or active exhaust pipes.
冰川在未来的分布是不确定的，云杉的年轮沉默地记录着温度的变化。在全球气候变化的当下，气温上升得越快，明永冰川退后越会加剧，那是不可再绘的冰川等高线。与此同时，树木将更加茂盛地生长，那是会逐年增宽的云杉年轮线。人类无法直接把握这种相互呼应的变化，只能依赖这两种以冰川和树木为对象的测量线。环境变化的肇因可能源于煨桑炉，可能源于排气管，是来自一串“烟圈”的侵袭。
The drawing works use the durable Dongba paper from Yunnan as carrier and depict the imagery of the sacred mountains that local Tibetan people worship, during which glacial scenery is also recorded. At this time, drawing is used as the tool of preserving memories in fluidity.
绘画作品以云南当地耐保存的东巴纸为底本，将滇西北藏族民众所崇拜的“圣山”图像和附带的冰川景色描摹于其上。此时的绘画被用作一种留存记忆流淌的工具。
