In this early work, I performed like a paper-maker, who mixed a variety of paper materials and text media. The paper inevitably got tightened during the drying process, and some previously embedded wooden strips were like wedges that kept tearing the entire work. In the end, the paper looked like a dried skin, and the three holes within imitated a screaming face.

If “history” has a body, it might undergo the drying process in this work. My weeks-long making process is like completing a "tribute to ancestors".
